Nursery

Sooo.. Its been a while since ive been on here!! As you can imagine with now having a 3 year old Daisy and a 5 year Amelia-Lily, and a full time job. I had no time to be able to write.

There has been a few times where I wanted to write down my thoughts but after 2 years i've finally picked up my laptop and thought id give you all an insight on how the last 2 years have been us.

First day at school was emotional for us all, our last baby going off to school is hard enough but Daisy being special was an even more worry. The thoughts of how will she settle in? Will the kids rip off her cochlears? Will they ignore her and leave her out? the thoughts were endless...
Dropped her off holding back the tears and Daisy was super excited as she had her own little uniform that matched her sisters and massive back pack full of all the thing i thought shed need in the 3 hours she was there!
We left her crying but we knew she should soon settle in as the teachers there are
amazing.
I rang the pre-school after an hour of leaving her and they said she has settled in nicely and coming out of her shell. she was playing with her little friends and was soon the boss!
We was so pleased to hear that she was doing well.

She came out will smiles holding hands with a little boy. Waving goodbye to her teachers and running up to me and Brad with so much joy to see us.

Fast forward 2 years and absolutely love's school, she has so many little friends which she always talks about! She now has 2 communication support worker Wendy Monday/Tuesday and Nina Wednesday to Friday! She's taken to them so well and has come on leap and bounds since they have been supporting her. She's learnt new signs and using them more often too at home. She a right little chatter box! We honestly cant shut her up now..

In place at school now we have radio aid which is just amazing for Daisy! Exactly what she needed. Few problems at the start but ill explain later on, on a different blog post. But its now fully working which means she can hear the teacher clear while all the noise is going on from the rest of the class. Technology is just amazing!

Donna Has recently been to see Daisy and she has said she is doing amazing. she's hitting target and a few things she's actually a head of target! Everyone loves our Daisy and there always emailing from Nottingham to see how she's doing.

Only Problem we have at the moment is the potty training, Everyone is pushing us to get her out of nappies, which we do try, but even though she is 3 Physical, she's actually only a 2 years and 4 months year old and she's very lazy!! So during summer i am going to push the potty training, but in the mean time we will just phase it all in little and slowly so she can adjust as she really doesn't like change.

She'll be starting Nursery in September! I know I'm crying too...
