Daisy's second mapping

So its just before Christmas and we have our Second turn up "mapping".
Were all wired up to the computer and ready to do. In our minds hoping for some reaction this time.
She playing away with her toys while their turning her up bit by bit. Mark has this speaker which place different sounds and when I say there loud. there LOUD! They got to Level 3 and they thought she was reacting to the beeping sounds and she was nearly turning her head to the light up animals but she didn't quite get that where the sound was, was an animal. She will get it but even that is a massive improvement.
Because she was so calm and relaxed, before they sent us of home, they turned her up 4 levels! so like before 4 being low and 1 being high, when they put her on the highest on out the 4 levels, she started to blink to some sounds! We was over the moon about that.
And the fact that mark also noticed it to was even better. we was so chuffed!!

They did joke and said shell we just put her on full, as she just so calm about it all she's probably wouldn't be bothered but we cant risk that at all. we'd rather go slowly so she can adjust in her time.

When we left audiology we left on level 4, in the car we put her on level 3 and when we got back home we put her on level 2. she was completely fine, and then we tried her on level 1 and she started to get abit unsettled so we took her back down to 3.

2 day later she was on level 1 and loving it! She started to say mmmm and mamama. she even gives kissed now, blows raspberries and she never did this before. So this was all good signs! very good at the fact she's getting the mmmm.

So very excited to see what 2018 has in store in for us.

I've started making my own Cochlear headbands for Daisy. There so easy to make and its a lot cheaper than buying one online.
She will eventually have one in every colour!
The pink one she is wearing now is one I've recently made,

Next turn up is 15th January.
I would like to say a massive thank you for everyone support this year and I hope you all have a happy new year!
