1 week of being switched on

So its been one week since being switched on and Daisy has done really well.
She's kept the cochlear's on all day, from the moment she wakes up then taking them off for her bath, bottle and bed. It must get annoying when you have a headband on your head all day!
Donna came round ( our teacher of the deaf ) and she is very happy with the progress Daisy is doing. She's turning her head to some bangs. She beams a massive smile once her Cochlear's on her. She chatting more and her Development is coming on really well. She's learnt how to walk by holding onto our hands. So very nearly crawling.. she's so close!!
Were very happy with our little super star! She's not bothered at all. I must admit she's a lot more interested in things around her now and the TV program BING she's addicted to.

We need to start doing the basic sounds around her that will help her develop spoken English language. If she can't do them all then she wont be able to speak to a full English language and sign language will be how she communicates but we will see how we get on.

sign language course starts on the 10th January which I'm very excited about.

So over all doing really well and cant wait for the next switch on next week!!
